The Schlögener Schlinge is one of the most impressive natural wonders of Upper Austria — a mighty, double river meander of the Danube, which is reminiscent of famous river loops in North America with its distinctive S-loop. Where the river changes its course in two elegant arches, a breathtaking panoramic view of the power and tranquility of nature opens up.

As with the wide River Bends of the American Southwest or the Mississippi meanders, nature shows itself here as a master of form. On the easily accessible hike you will reach the legendary Schlögener Blick  viewpoint and enjoy the beauty of the Danube region.
