Tips and Information

Booking
You will receive a booking confirmation from us per post. Should the tour of your choice be fully booked or if we have questions, we will contact you!
For any belated changes of the booking we will quote a fee of € 50,00 per person.

Deposit
After you have received your invoice (incl. bank details) a deposit of EUR 60,00 per person is requested, payable within 14 days (no deposit if you pay by credit card).

Payment
After you have received your booking confirmation (incl. bank details) we request to pay a deposit of € 60,00 per person within 14 days (no deposit if you pay by credit card).
We will send you the invoice with the amount still due approx. 4 weeks before your tour starts. Please pay within one week.
If you pay by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD) please fill in the details, name of cardholder, expire date, card numbers (16) and CVC-Code upon your registration form! We will debit the total amount to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival (no deposit).

Cancellation
The general travel conditions of 1992 apply with following cancellation conditions: Prior to arrival the customer can cancel in written form at any time the booked arrangement. In case of cancellation or no show we charge following fees:
Up to 28 days before arrival date 20% of tour price
from 27th -14th day before arrival date 30% of tour price
from 13th -08th day before arrival date 50% of tour price
from 07th - 04 day before arrival date 70% of tour price
from 03rd day before arrival date to the day of arrival or “no show” 90% of tour price

Every registered customer can find another (third party) person to go on the cycle tour instead considering you let us know up to 3 days prior your arrival. For important reason the Upper Austrian Tourist Board can object the participation of the third party. The previous mentioned cancellation conditions apply. In case a third party takes place instead of the registered participant, the original booking is still valid. A handling fee of Euro 50,00 per booking is charged.
For any belated changes of the booking (e.g. change of date, etc.) we will quote a charge of € 50,00.

Information material
A map with tour description, your hotel list and some general information will be sent enclosed with your invoice. Upon arrival you will receive your voucher booklet, city maps, luggage labels, …

Luggage transfer
We transport your luggage from hotel to hotel as far as the last hotel of your package tour. We assume liability of up to EUR 500,00 per piece of luggage/person during the booked package tour. For the return journey you have to take over organization and responsibility for your luggage! We cannot give reimbursement for damaged objects or held responsible for valuables kept in your luggage. Abrasion, similar to flying, cannot be taken into account. We kindly ask you not to bring bulky luggage or luggage with more than 20 kg. Please note that per person only one piece of luggage is transported!

Arrival by train
You can reach most of the tour starting points without difficulty by using public transport. If you book a Salzkammergut Tour and would like to arrive in Salzburg by train, there is the possibility to book a bus transfer to St. Wolfgang (no train station there). Prices: approx. EUR 90,00 up to 4 persons. Please indicate this on your registration!

Weekend Hotline
If there are any kinds of problems during your hiking tour please let us know. Our service hotline number is indicated in your travel documents and you can call us on weekdays, during the weekend as well as on bank holidays. In case you are not satisfied with your accommodation, please try to solve the problem at first with your host. If it is not possible to find a solution, we are pleased to help. Please keep in mind that by not informing us about problems you may diminish your later demands.
